Jennifer Blome retired from KTRS Radio on June 14th, and I wanted to send a small token of my appreciation to the station. I checked into flowers, but they wouldn’t make it in time, so I decided on some Crumbl cookies. I contacted Wendy Wiese, who said Monday, June 10th, would be the best date to send something to the station.

I did not realize that DoorDash would deliver orders from the official Crumbl Cookies website, so they nearly did not make it to the station!

DoorDash called me at 10:45 and asked about a delivery, but I did not order anything from DoorDash. So they called again 5 minutes later, and it was Crumbl Cookies! Thankfully, that driver was persistent!

She mentioned on-air that she would be following up with a proper thank you, but I never heard anything, so I assumed she got busy with everything that has to do with retiring in the broadcasting industry. Lots of interviews, lunches, parties, etc. However, today I got this in the mail!

I have no idea how she got my address, but I guess you can get whatever you need when you are one of the most powerful women in St. Louis broadcasting.
