Custom Vinyl Records on Etsy
I can't quite recall how I stumbled upon this idea, but once I did, I knew it had to happen. My best friend, Nick, is an avid vinyl enthusiast, and his partner, Joe, is a talented photographer, so putting this project together was an easy decision.
OHTO Graphic Liner Drawing Pen (CFR-150GL10), Black
Growing up, I was 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 with office supplies - and I still can be depending on what it is (ask me about my fancy printer paper or my coil binding machine).
I was recently in Dallas for a work event and had some time to kill so I visited one of my favorite areas of town, the Bishop Arts District. While in WE ARE 1976, I came across this OHTO Graphic Liner 10 pen and instantly fell in love.
I have never felt this way about a pen before - and while I am all about supporting a small business, I'm not sure I can afford to buy a case at the retail price, so I may need to figure out how to import these from Japan.
All About Me: The Story of Your Life
I love learning more about my friends. I found this book called All About Me: The Story of Your Life by Philipp Keel back in 2009 and completed it and sent it along with a blank one to several friends. Only one sent it back, Chris Beaman, and looking through it now I can see that he’s changed significantly in many areas. I can only imagine what my cringe-worthy answers look like 15 years later!
Blossom Dearie
Blossom Dearie is an incredible jazz musician I've recently fallen in love with. This piece of screen-printed art is by David Mack (@drawl.ings on Instagram) and I knew I had to pick it up as soon as I saw it. I'm so in awe of talented artists like David.
TeePublic
Whenever I need a T-Shirt for an event and I want to design it myself, I go to TeePublic. They have great quality apparel at a low price, and the printing is great. I wore the shirt featured in this post to an event Reba was hosting at The Town Hall in Manhattan to promote her book Not That Fancy, and it was a big hit!
Bygone Brand
Great products featuring great vintage logos form a bygone era. I have many of their shirts from St. Louis businesses I grew up visiting with my Mom, including Venture, Famous Barr and Riverport Ampitheatre.
Kapow Meggings
This amazing company is owned by two great brothers who generously featured some of my photography over the years.
